Beautiful Shuster piece, Chief. There's something about Clark Kent wearing the fedora that really adds to the character, but you can't really get away with it these days without it seeming very anachronistic. In fact the fashions on that page are all rather fabulous.

Congrats to the Shuster page, JB!

And Flavio, that the story on that ONE page could give a few whole arcs/TPBs out there today a run for their money in terms of content.

(Also a belated congrats to Fred for catching that fine Buscema Hulk splash. I am only slightly envious.)

…or not.

Turns out this is a Shuster Studio job (tho that's not how it was listed), and I am not interested in paying this kind of money for what's maybe Ed Dobrotka and George Roussos, so I canceled the order.

And the quest continues.

Thanks must go out to Paul Kupperberg. I sent him a link to the sale site, and his immediate response was "Ed Dobrotka art?" So I did a little online research, and, yes, that became increasingly likely.

Good catch, Mr. Kupperberg. Sorry that didn't work out, JB.

And good catch, Joe! Nice gift!

Happy BDay!
