William, that Terrax card is one of the coolest Hembecks I've seen in a while, which says something, since they are are cool!

Lloyd, congrats on a stunning Swan page.

Congrats on getting the Dan Dare piece, JB! Any Dare art of that vintage would be a dream to own.

Yes, it's actually from a wee bit before my introduction to DAN DARE, but with a great shot of Anastasia and all three characters in those classic Space Fleet suits, how could I resist?

Wow, some great new art here. Love the Odin and congratulations to our host, those colour pages are simply beautifull !

I always love seeing the great art posted in this thread , here are some recent additions to my collection. All from the London Super Comic Convention.

She-Hulk by Emanuela Lupacchino. I'm not sure how visible it is in the picture but she added some green metallic highlights to the lips and eyes.

Powergirl by Jamal Igle

And finaly the highlight of the convention for me; meeting George Perez and being lucky enough to get a sketch from him. I'm a longtime admirer of George's work and his being in London was one of my two main reasons to go (the other reason was Stan Lee).

The other two are pretty generic, but that Starfire is wonderful. Shows us the effort George put into giving her a face uniquely her own. Naked with her head shaved, she'd still be recognizable.

Sadly, it's a face that other artists have completely abandoned, over the years.

I used to work for Wondercon back in the Image days and let me tell you. Nice guys in comic books back then were rare. Nicest guy I met, after Stan lee and Jim Lee was Martin Nodel who was being completely ignored by everyone. I was SO blown away that this piece of history was so damn humble that it changed the way I looked at pros after that.

Nice guys that have insane talent are so cool to meet.
