Mr. Byrne----How large are the Dan Dare originals? I like the coloring especially the explosion. That space ship is a hoot.

Just got a JSA page prelim from Mr. Ordway and a nice Mr. Terrific headshot also from him. It reminds me that DC choose the wrong artist for Mr. Terrific, Jamal Igle or Ordway would have been good choices.

Weird "mask" on Mr. Terrific. Reminds me of the Atom villain Chronos -- a disguise that leaves all the most recognizable features (ears, shape of eyes, shape of nose, shape of lips) completely visible! And this one takes it a step further, with the hair in plain sight. Does the new Terrific NOT have a "secret identity"?

Looks a bit like Blackface, to me. Leastways, without color.

Love the character but I never liked that mask.

If memory serves, I don't believe Michael Holt (Mr. Terrific) has a
secret identity. I've yet to read his now-cancelled solo series so I don't
know if that has held true in the "New 52" era.

One of the reasons I didn't pick up the series was the art. Didn't care
for it. Would've loved to see Jamal Igle do it. Love his stuff.

Sir---The modern Mr. Terrific during his run on JSA was never really shown out of his heroic identity. So i don't remember how secret his identity was, but he had the ability to remain invisible to all forms of recording tech.

To Eric---Unfortunately, DC Editorial made some bad choices when it came to the artists on some of the New 52, Mr. Terrific being at the top of my list...

Fred -

Hey, so *you* won that Garcia-Lopez/Jonah Hex page off of eBay!?! Grrrr.

At least it went to another JBF member. Congrats on the pick-up!
