Yes, this is from the last Superman story before the reboot. As much as I love JB's work, there is a part of me that wishes Swan could have stayed on as the regular penciller of at least one of the reboot Superman titles--especially with Perez or JB himself as inker.

Another nice page Lloyd. Swan and Perez are nice. I agree about it's too bad that DC didn't want to keep Swan on one of the Superman titles, his art wasn't the problem. I'm sure a Byrne written and Swan drawn title would have been great.

Great art! Really gorgeous pieces by Al Williamson. I've just realised how incredibly ignorant I've been all these years about Al Williamson. I grew up in the 80s and so knew him as an inker... and that's always what I've though known him as.

That Flash piece made me google his biopgraphy and I now realise what an awesome artist he was.... Wow.

And the Perez inks on the Curt Swan page really work well.

Not that I know of. I found his name on a comic site a few years ago and like his stuff so I started collecting it.....no sign of stopping!

A little info about Mr. Roberge...

Perez had inked both chapters of "Whatever Happened to the Man of
