cool jt. i look forward to seeing more of the pages and read the story.

welcome laurent. great first post :)

your welcome dale! wow i am not sure yet. honestly ive been really sketching for 5 months when i have time. i love superhero/action artwork and pinups. i think that is what i have been doing most of but i jump around trying different styles like peanuts, anime, & some indie characters. it's funny that some of my better results are on characters i do not follow like deadpool and a character called the courier. sadly for me, because of time my output and skills have been moving slowly. how about yourself? is superhero art your favorite topics? do have deviantart page?

I'm just getting back into it Charlie and I like mainly doing superhero stuff. I love the aliens as a villian!

But I like real life portraits and natural scenes too. I usued to do technical drawing as well. But I'm pretty much limited to the pencil.

I don't really know the first thing about painting, except for some really shaky waters colours. I'll see if I can find some natural stuff and post it.

Dale-
you should start a deviant art account and put your stuff there too---  I think you'd get more critique and honest feedback-- this thread is pretty much for just sharing stuff that you're working on for other's to enjoy.. it's not a critique forum or anything like that---  and if you haven't already, you should read John's "forum decorum" thread at the top of the forum, just out of respect for him and how he wishes to administer his site.  He's very gracious to allow us to upload our art to his server.

I second what Paul suggests, Dale.  You should go take a gander of my collection at http://yusakujon3.deviantart.com/ for a moment to see what you can put up.  (In fact, I recommend everyone come pay a visit, as I've just uploaded a number of pages scanned on my new large format scanner.)

Your work looks quite good, by the way.  I really liked the spoof image of Alfred E Newman as Doctor Doom!

Thanks Paul. I'll create a deviant art account and post some stuff there. I'll re-read the forum rules too just to be safe. I honestly didn't think I was going against anything, but I'll double check just to be safe. Thanks again for the suggestions and advice.
