Let's get it done!

A little preview of something that I'll be cobbling together for the next DeviantART.com sketchdump post at my gallery.

And, still another one...

A little sketch of a scene that I might put into one of my stories.  I had such a vivid imagination that I sometimes kick myself for never having followed through on some of the things that I was putting together back then.

Jodi - I draw on blue-line comic boards with pencils and ink pens, then scan and color in Photoshop. It didn't take long to get used to, and I'm learning new tricks all the time!

Dale, LOVE the full dresser! Great illustration, mate.

Sketchbook time - someone at work opined that a movie about zombie nazis riding dinosaurs would be awesome. Maybe some timetravelling thrown in for fun. So I scrawled this one out while watching Top Gear last night. Hollywood here we come!!

Cheers, Mal

 QUOTE:
For those of you that do the digital stuff what program do you use?  Do you draw the picture digitally or sketch it by hand, scan than color digitally?

I do all the above from time to time.

The Avengers page was sketched and inked by hand. I then coloured some parts with coloured pencils by hand before scanning it into photoshop and then working it with the fill tool and the airbrush tool. I then pushed the levels in photoshop make some areas darker or lighter as needed.

I'm not a colourist though...and it unfortunately shows. :(
