Not a super-hero piece, but I figured I'd post this recent pic I did that was inspired by all the Betty White love going around the internet these days:

Thank you Jodi.

Well, it has no name at the moment so for the fun maybe we can start to throw some names around...

I am doing some character designs for my company, and at one moment I needed to have a break from it. So, it just felt from my blue pencil...

One more...

There was a bit of white space on the page on which this was being done, which was why I didn't put both posts on the same thread posting.  I can generally put down simple sketches like these in about 10 minutes, max.  That depends on the amount of detail being put into the sketch and the subject matter.

Each of the two sketches of fishes and fishing lures under water took about 5 minutes.

Nice work from everyone lately, keep 'em coming, folks. Didier, is he an Owmyheadissaurus? Maybe not... Carmen, did you catch much? It's winter here, so the fishing's off for about three months down here...

You guys ever have a jag where you fixate on one character repeatedly? I'm on a mini Red Sonja kick at the moment - much to my missus's consternation :-) Here's a couple of quick ones - from last night while the football was on

and tonight while Top Gear was on

Cheers, all! Mal

He would make a great character for a kids book. I wish I was great at coming up with good names, but I am terrible at it, I have a cat that is named "Kitty" right now and at one time a dog named "Barkie". :0(

With all the talented people on JBF both writers and artists, you need to join forces to do some kind of project like a kids book.

Jodi! Thanks for the comment on my new logo, I have spent a serious 30 years trying to come up with something. This one seems to be it, LOL!

Mal, I had a big Iron Fist jag about a year ago, UFC fighting seemed to inspire my fixation. I think yours is healthier!
