Thanks, David! For some reason, I feel like painting the FF next BUT I think the next painting on my list is going to be a drive-in theater. It's going to be large and involved and FUN. Stay tuned. Ha.

Further experimentation with the colored pencils.  Also, a little attempt at tackling drawing a pretty girl in a tube top going fishing.  Looking at this now, I wonder if having a few good reference photos would be a boon to me?

Does anyone know of any good sites that'd carry a 360º view of a model like this?

Some nice work there Joe S.  Keep it up!  Here's my latest, the Hulk vs. the Abomination. One thing I noticed when I was all done was that it didn't make a whole lot of sense for the Hulk to have the H-beam in his hands especially when I dropped the mountains in the background.  I had initially wanted to set the piece in the middle of debris and I stalled when it came to put something up in the sky behind the two characters.  I chose to put in the mountains, inked them, only to realize that it would be difficult for the Hulk to find a beam like that in the middle of a bunch of mountains, unless he brought it with him...or there is some kind of secret underground lair or something like that in the mountains...

Derek - 11x14...it's not regular paper though...it's heavier than regular paper...not as heavy as a two-ply brite white board but very close to that, I would say.
