Long time no speak, guys - real life has a nasty habit of intruding on our leisure time, no? However, it's been great to scroll back through the last few pages and see the continual improvement and high standards that the folks in here are making in their artistic endeavours. Great stuff.

I was just noodling scene ideas for my little pet project and was pretty happy with this young lady...

Cheers, and Go Iggles!

Bill,

Great drawings!  Off-topic; how is your boy?  I hope he is safe and well, and thanks again to him.

Marc

Hey, thanks for asking, Marc. Yeah, he's doing great over in Okinawa. He calls about once a week.

Knocked this up today... hope you all know where the character is from...

Maybe it needs a dead monster in the background. And some 70s/80s style cover blurbs like 'PULSE-POUNDING FIRST ISSUE!!'

@ Dave:

A dead frost giant or Uglik the Troll lying behind her would go perfectly with that background.  If you're working with Marvel's Valkyrie, I'd go with one of those monsters.

Yeah a troll would be good - it's not Marvel's Valkyrie, it's a character from the movie Battle Beyond The Stars. Probably if Marvel ever did do a spin-off comic as I imagined, they wouldn't use the title I'd given it to avoid confusion with their Valkyrie.
