First coat of paint on background and lettering. Lots and lots of color adjustment and refining in the future (oh and more lettering).

Thanks Bill. And I'm going to tip my hat to Thomas, Steve, Mr. Wiist, Mikael and especilly Thanos Kollias. Thanos, was that a commission? How much would a piece like that pull in? I've been thinking about doing some paid work and I'm not sure what to charge. Great work everyone!

Hand-lettering and smoothing out the background takes time. I think I'm still on track to finish this tonight though. Or early morning. Can hardly wait to get started on my next poster: The Blob. Have a great design in mind for it.

This is pretty much the final version. I plan to do just a bit more tightening tomorrow, otherwise: Done. Bring on the Blob!!! (VERY excited about this next one). (EDITED TO ADD: This is a 24" x 36" acrylic on canvas).
