My latest...measures 22x17 inches. The Avengers fighting Galactus. My son wanted the Avengers from the new animated series but gave me free rein for the bad guy selection.  I chose Galactus, a favorite of mine and his. I'm not overly satisfied with this one but it's all for fun.

Thanks guys... hadn't thought about it but the Thing is pretty-much a marvel monster.

Well, here's the last of the monsters that I drew this year--the king of the Kirby monsters-- FIN FANG FOOM!

I don't think of this as something great, but more a couple of steps.

1. I decided it is past time to use my iPad as an art creation device if possible - so I experimented last night with Sketchbook Pro and a stylus pen called PogoSketch for about 20 minutes in bed.

2. I really haven't drawn much since the late 1990s, doing more graphic design work on a Mac. I doodle and thumbnail, but never much more than that. This is a step toward getting back into some of that

So here it is - for better or worse :-)

Not bad for a new medium! (Tarkin?)

Yes, JT. It's Tarkin. Based on an old sketch I did where I was thinking of making a Flash-based cartoon of Star Wars. Did some highly stylized versions of some of the main characters. Tried to give each one a one word description for their caricature.

Tarkin's was "deathly."
