Count Nefaria became one of my favorite Marvel villains with this storyline and so I give  kudos to both the "commissioner" and Mr. Byrne for the wonderful trip down memory lane.

Wow what a great commission!  I love JB's Captain America, for me, he steals the show whenever he pops up in a commission.

Wow great!!

But also a bummer! Was my idea for a next commission aswell. hah hah

I would have sure put in Wonderman though.....would have been the centre of my idea for a commission of that story. Nefaria vs Wonderman.

You can still have your's too, Eelco. It's only specific recreations I won't do more than once. (You'll notice there are already two FF vs SuperSkrull and FF/Doom/Tyros commissions in the Gallery).

Man, remember those bygone days when some of those guys in the New Avengers of today were still THE MIGHTY AVENGERS?

Sigh.

Also, It's great to see Iron Man looking so sleek and simple, the way he should, instead of having armor that looks like some kinda Manga-induced nightmare.

I'm surprised nobody has asked for the commission before. The Nefaria storyline was my first exposure to JB's artwork. I still get chills thinking of Thor showing up at the end to kick some butt. I could picture another commission with Nefaria choking out The Whizzer with one hand and knocking-out Wonder Man (torn costume of course) with another. Thanks for the trip down memory lane JB. Yet another amazing piece.
