Strong energy in this piece.

OT, I think Iron Fist would kick Wolverine's @$$.

I am guessing JB, with all his years in the business, has heard harsher things then my comments on how he drew Storm in this comission.  And the owner of the piece, I am sure, is VERY happy with what he got and could care less what someone says on this forum.  Further, don't you find it a bit boring when all people do is parrot each other's praise of JB ad infinitum?  Really, some polite critique makes for a more interesting discussion.  And yes, I get the whole, "this is JB's home", we should repect him, and be thankful he shares these comissions at all . . .

To what are you referring and how can you place someone on ignore?

Cool piece. I really like the costume switch on Wolverine.

That's one reason why I never bought that rumor. I couldn't see why you would refuse to draw it on one book, but not another.

****

Have you noticed how many internet rumors work like that?

Poster A(with ennui in every syllable):Oh, I heard Joe StaffHack absolutely refuses to draw bunnyrabbits.

Poster B: But -- the latest issue of SUPERFAB FUNNIES is all about a trip to BunnyLand -- and StaffHack wrote and drew it!

Poster A: He doesn't draw backgrounds, either.

And so on...

Yes, but mostly from people who know the difference between "then" and "than".

Click on "IGNORE" under their post(s), Ari.

I'm sure JB has heard worse. But on his forum when posting a private
commission that we are fortunate to see, bashing the art is not only rude
to John it's rude to Scott as well. Like I said before, feel free to disagree
on any topic here - but the art critiques really bug me. Next time, why
don't you draw the "corrected" version of what you find wrong with it and
post it for our illumination.

This piece is based loosely on this cover, Tshombe:

Scott asked that I shift emphasis to IF and Wolverine, but other than adding Scott and Jean in the background, I used the characters seen in the original presentation.
