Gerry, this makes the journey entirely worth it. Great work, JB - and again, incredible generosity.

Fantastic!
There is not only a real Ditko feel to this, naturally, but a little Terry Austin
too.
Congrats, Gerry!

What a fantastic piece! I really enjoy the positioning of the Defenders shot underneath and to the side of the big image of Strange. I bow to the greatness of JB's work and to the collection of Gerry.

…a little Terry Austin ••• I seem to find myself thinking of Terry quite often when I do a Dr. Strange drawing. There was a moment, very fleeting, when he and I were going to take on DOCTOR STRANGE. I remember him grumbling that the one thing he didn't like about inking Strange was that darn house, that had to look the same every time. I said I was thinking of changing that, so that except for the distinctive attic window, the house would not look the same two issues in a row -- sometimes not even in the same issue!

Cool idea, having the outside change like the inside does/did. Who knows anymore?!

My brother recently moved from the Village to Astoria, Queens, but he used to live on the corner of Bleeker Street, and we used to frequent a pub there called 1849.
I would think of the Sanctum Sanctorum every time I was there.
