Very nice JB. You always have an incredible talent for making one take more intrest in a character simply by drawing them.

I loved Ostrander's Spectre and Suicide Squad but his Firestorm left me cold.

Soon after Conway's departure from Fury of Firestorm Ostrander took over and stayed for quite some time, I understand.

I haven't read LEGENDS since it first came out. At the time, my feeling was that it moved very SLOWLY. It took 6 issues to tell a story that could have been told in 2. It was the first thing of John Ostrander's I read, but after that I read many books he wrote that I enjoyed - WASTELAND, THE SPECTRE, and GOTHAM KNIGHTS probably the most. John, what were your feelings about the story at the time, and what are they now?

That's one cool . . . er, ah, I mean "hot" Firestorm. The character always had a special place in my heart because I shared the same first name as his younger half alter ego.
On a somewhat related note, I notice that Firestorm is also the one JLA character that Alex Ross continues to ignore his big group shots. I wonder why that is.
