Go peruse the Commissions Galleries and come back and tell us if you still
think this.

I didn't mean hiding your name was unusual, tattoo art that isn't comic related is unusual. I recall in another thread you commented about an artist's signature being illegible. Just thought for something like this you would have your name more visible.

Just picking your brain.

I've been a fan for close to 30 years and I think this is the first piece of your art I would never has pegged as yours.

Not that this is bad, this piece is awesome! I'm just suprised at how different this looks for anything else I've seen of yours.

Hmmm, very interesting and very cool. Do you know who the tattoo artist is
going to be? Is it in the Connecticut area? I have been tattooing for 15 years
and I would be stoked to do this. I am in Brooklyn, NY. If not, I can
recommend some artists in the area who would suited to this type of work. I
wouldn't go to just any tattooer.
Please let me know, I can throw out some names for you and steer you in
the right direction....

Great rendition of Steve McQueen.  John, you have previously written about your self-perceived inadequacies of rendering real people, but you really are great at it.  Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

And NOBODY touches Byrne with depicting vehicles.  I LOVE the bike!

(Tho I have on occasion given thought to having a big D.N.R. tattooed
somewhere a medical team would be sure to find it!)

With all the tattoing going around in society today, it's kind of odd that people don't to stuff like that (more often). I mean I'm sure some people do, but it certainly doesn't strike me as a widespread practice. And where better to put D.N.R.s or Organ Donor Assents, or the like.

What part of British Columbia? Vancouver?Victoria?, etc...that's a BIG area.
Just a general area would do, and I can recommend someone good for
you just for this particular job.
