This is one of my favorite pieces. It has taken me
seven years to get this framed, mainly because my local
guy went out of business and I didn't get around to
looking for someone else.
Everyone I have shown it to tells me I have it upside
down. LOL

Having a father who was an architect, I started out imitating what I saw him do, which included taping his paper to the board. After years of doing this with my own pages (long before I turned pro), it dawned on me that Dad did it because he needed all the straight lines in the plans he drew to be perfectly parallel. But I wasn't dealing with straight lines, mostly, so one day I took off the tape and allowed myself to actually turn the paper to fit the position of my hand,Which is a long way of saying I drew that Daredevil piece "upside down" from the intended viewing position.

Being new to this board I have to say I am envious of all these wonderful commissions. I have yet to be tapped on the shoulder for a commission from JB but my hope is to get a nice Blastaar from FF4. Always had a soft spot for underutilized bad guys.

Andrew, do you mean "Sub-Mariner from FF#4" or do you mean "Blastaar from FF#62"? I think the confusion is that Blastaar was introduced in issue #62 and not #4. Although, I don't know about any other Fantastic Four series so perhaps in a different FF book he was in issue #4?

Ha! I was just saying from Fantastic Four...no issue number. My brain couldn't decide if I wanted to abbreviate it FF or F4 so I just combined everything. Just him shooting energy blasts out of his hands is my thought.
