Wonderful.  Was not expecting to see the Spirit.  Beautiful choice of characters and the background is amazing.  Congratulations to the commissioner!

Great work, JB!  Have fun on your well deserved trip.

There'll be commissions. I plan to work on some of the smaller ones, plus some eBay stuff for Jim. You just won't be seeing 'em until I get back!

(And then, of course, I'll have to upload them slowly, to ward off the numbskulls who think everything they see at the see time was DONE at the same time!)

I like this one. I think your inking style lends itself well to this type of character.

This just in: it's official - JB's sewer design has received the Seal of  Approval from Edward Lilywhite Norton, Central City Chief Engineer in Subterranean Sanitation!  Congratulations on this Singular Honor in recognition of your fine work!

One tiny thing - those pipes don't look too clean...

I LOVE the way the pipes spell out "SPIRIT"!

Ya might as well have said: "There'll be commissions -- YA JUST CAN'T SEE 'EM!  NYAH-NYAH-NA-NYAH-NYAH!"

A fat lotta good THAT'LL do us poor, visually-starved fans...grumble..grumble...don't have computers up North...grumble...only time they download is when a bear is chargin' at 'em -- an' THAT's in their PANTS...grumble...

Dang I love how the light is sooo bright and your ability to make it so.

Lucky you, getting to go to Canada, have a great trip!

Edited to add: Mr Byrne I am a person that likes to call people by a respectful name, since I do not know you personally I felt weird calling you John or JB, but I have heard you would rather people to not call you "Mr" .  How would you like to be addressed?  I am leaning towards "Big Daddy"? yes? No?  kidding of course, but what do you prefer?

Fantastic piece JB! I agree with Jodi and the others, the lighting is awesome. I also love the shoes too. I always felt Eisner drew shoes that someone had really worn. You captured that perfectly.

JB, are you masking off the flares coming from the flashlight, using a whiteout of some sort, or are you just really careful when your inking?
