Nope, I'm not referring to the characters Terror, Inc., and Wolverine, but rather art teams. I was going through some comics at my shop when I came across the issue below and I never noticed before that the art was by Joe Kubert... inked by Klaus Janson! What an interesting team to put together.
Are there any art teams that you have found to be interesting?

Fantastic Four #133 paired Ramona Fradon & Joe Sinnott in a battle apparently as furious as the Thing/Thundra clash on the cover. For the first half of the book, Sinnott was in control, turning Fradon's work into standard FF pages, but by the end, Fradon had worn him down and Reed & the background characters were looking as if they'd stepped out of an Aquaman or Super Friends comic.
Amazing Adventures #9 & 10 paired Mike Sekowsky, of early JLA fame, with Bill Everett on the Inhumans of all things, creating pages that look as odd as anything Marvel has ever done. Interestingly, Marvel recently reprinting these along with some of Neal Adams' work in a Black Bolt one-shot.
Herb Trimpe and John Severin as the art team on the Incredible Hulk was always something strange and wonderful.

what a unusual combination.

I always thought the Jack Kirby/Bill Everett combination on the Hulk stories in TALES TO ASTONISH was interesting!

I just did, and while Joe respected Ramona's pencils on the background characters thru-out, he kept the FF on model start to finish. (Unconnected Side Note: The annual Statement of Ownership is in that issue. Current creative teams and editorial offices who are feeling puffed up about topping the 100,000 mark with their latest stunts should go take a look at it. FANTASTIC FOUR was averaging -- averaging!! -- almost 450,000 per month!)

Not sure those Ditko/Byrne and Byrne/Simonson pages really belong in this discussion. Steve and I were both doing breakdowns, not full pencils.

It is a shame we may never see Kubert's pencils for that Terror Inc.
cover. I have no active memory of him drawing Wolverine before. Would
really love to know how much was Kubert before Jason added his inks.

One of my all-time favorite odd pairings was Jack Kirby and Al Williamson on one of the 3 ROCKETEERS stories.
Unfortunately, that's the largest image I could find online. Of course, there have been a lot of odd pairings that DIDN'T work. Perhaps more than did. Somebody thought it was a good idea to put Vinnie Colletta inks over Neal Adams pencils in a BRAVE&BOLD issue. Neal actually reinked much of it before publication! Ditto, the George Roussos inks over Neal's first DEADMAN outing were less than ideal.
