Congratulations!  

But on the other hand, if they didn't put you in, that would be tantamount to having a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and not admitting the Rolling Stones or the Who.

So, what I mean is your body of work clearly merits such an honor.  No doubt about it.  Both from the artist stand point as well as the writer.
