Who or what is watching from the window, I wonder?

My more immediate concern is who or what is watching from
inside that tree!

Incidentally, as I have mentioned before, the deep cleavage which Neal gave Cynthia on the page I used for reference was "edited" out with the point of an X-Acto blade. Literally scraped and scratched right off the original.

So as I inked that attenuated "C" curve in the window of Cynthia's dress, a part of my brain thought This one's for you, Mr. Adams!

So good....

Not familiar with the character but who cares! Just a great commission!

It did prompt the question in my head though of when your next published comic (aside from the photonovels) will be? (sorry i had to ask!)

Another case of John Byrne "luminous black."  Incredible.  Love the drapery on the dress where it hits the ground!
I also now wish there existed a big collection of JB Pinups!

Well thats a bloody shame. Our loss. Best bit for me of the commission - and its hard to choose - but its how the skull is resting in the two fingers of her left hand.

To expand a bit...

I had dinner with Chris Ryall on Friday. He and his boss, Greg Goldstein, came up for what has become an annual event. One of the questions Chris asked was what would get me drawing comics again. A flurry of potential projects crossed my mind, but I really had no answer. The reality is, after forty years, the fire has gone out. When it comes to drawing little pictures in little boxes, nothing really calls to me any more. The commission pieces satisfy the artist in me much more, now, than comics. Plus they let me play in "universes" that no longer exist. And let's face it, creator-owned projects notwithstanding, the sheer joy of comics, for me, was being able to play with those wonderful toys that had entertained me as a child.

Maybe something will reignite those ancient fires, but for now, STAR TREK - NEW VISIONS more than scratches the storytelling itch, and does so in a way that is more satisfying that virtually anything else I have done.
