Loved inking this action page - Spidey, FF, Doom, Magneto. What more can you say?

Once again, a top notch job, Paul. Everyone here is doing some great work, but your pages are my favorites of them all.

My printer is playing up and this was never going to end up as anything other than a fail, but for some reason I persisted even though knowing it couldn't work out to a completed piece. Thought I'd share the fail before I ditch it:

Especially considering the printing issues, the inks came out nice, Peter.

My inking is inferior to where I would like it to be, but thanks, Matt, appreciate it.

Peter, I know what you mean about chasing an image in your head with your inks on the paper. Seeing your progress image I have a suggestion. As an exercise try doing all of the holding lines first. The outlines of your figure. Don’t touch the interior until you have established the surroundings. Since details and interior lines flatten an image when they are the same weight or thicker than the holding line you can avoid this by having a guide established before tackling details. For that panel I would have done the lettering first, then the action lines, then the holding lines around Logan being careful with different textures then the details last. Almost like working foreground to background. Give it a try!

Thanks for the tip, Eric. I'll give that a go next time.

Got the printer working a lot better and managed to put together a whole page. And it took me a while. I am a slow, slow colourer with Photoshop, mainly because it lets you mess about with tiny details beyond any sensible degree.

Thanks, Phillipe. My inking is kind of all right here and I like to think my colouring is actually quite good -- it does enough to cover the inking shortcomings.

One thing the inking makes me appreciate even more is JB's pencils. They are so elegant. The details in that first panel are really quite small even when on full board size.
