Another issue of Alpha Flight sounds awesome. And if it opened the door for one-offs on some....other books, that would be really really FANTASTIC!

I'm not subtle, sorry. And I don't want to be greedy, this entire project is such a gift as-is!

JB - Please, do what you want.  I can say I'll enjoy it and be grateful for it. I'm loving Elsewhen. It feels to me like 25 issues in you've really just gotten started. You've laid a foundation and seem to have gotten the characters to where you want them. Kitty as a normal mutant teenager, Jean dealing with missing years of her life, Logan not healing instantly, Scott as the leader, etc...

Probably a good thing that we all always want more, more, MORE!  Now, how to clone Mr. Byrne and have 100 versions of him doing 100 different titles...

As to Alpha Flight - a one shot with a dozen hanging subplots would be a good shot at all who complain about Mr. Byrne leaving titles hanging mid-story (came about due to the mess when JB went to do Superman and from what I understand Shooter told him to get lost immediately).  Same with Elsewhen - I keep fearing a day I'll come here and find a 'site not found' error.  But regardless at least we've had a lot of fun here.  Can't beat the price or the quality - how odd, a freebie that is high quality.

Now THAT was one heck of an issue!

JB, I wish Marvel Studios would take you on as an executive producer/consultant for when they inevitably reboot the X-Men for the movies.  (And that you'd agree to it of course.)  Your instincts for storytelling and your understanding of these characters are unmatched.

Not in my experience. Few great things are done out of love of money.

JB: But here’s where the sadistic part kicks in: I would play it literally as an issue of ALPHA FLIGHT, coming into a story in progress, and salting the setting with subplots. Plus a cliffhanger ending that might never be resolved.

BWAH HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!

I'd love it!

Ok… here goes… I will admit that I *wouldn’t* enjoy an issue that leaves a huge unresolved cliffhanger!  I’m sure I’d love the issue itself but the cliffhanger would drive me crazy… waiting a month for the X-men cliffhanger I’d be fine with, but never getting resolution would be just awful (like that feeling I get when a good TV series ends on a season cliffhanger and gets cancelled.  Argh!)

********

But would you have the resolution already worked out?

Heard at JB's death bed: "The ending... of the Alpha Flight story... is... Ughhhh."
