Wolverine was relatively barnacle free when I left UNCANNY. This reset is more because I felt the character had pretty much flatlined, and I wanted a way to add some twists and turns that I hoped youse guys would have some fun with.
So, working on the assumption that Jean gets through her current woes relatively unscathed (not a given I know), what will the new/old Wolverine think of her, considering up to this point he has not met her, yet fell for her almost immediately first time around?

Some of that figures in the next issue—but don’t get too excited. The Jean/Wolverine thing came entirely from Chris, and I found it pretty forced.
Plus, keep in mind that in the ELSEWHEN timeline, Logan did not have much interaction with the real Jean. It was mostly Phoenix.
I confess to hoping Sabretooth had shown up again in Logan’s backstory. I really wanted to see you move forward with their dynamic after the introduction. I’ve been wanting to see you play with those two for a loooooong time, now.
(That’s not to say I was in any way disappointed with what we got.)
