Love it. Count me among many people who would enjoy listening to a
woman with that accent read the phonebook or a users manual.

Around 10 years. It was part of some ad campaign in Australia IIRC.

Yeah, big advertising hit. Won Grand Prix at the Cannes Advertising Festival that are like the Oscars for advertising. Ridiculous, sure but it's a ridiculous industry that takes itself very seriously and I say that as a member.

They made animated series, videogames, dolls and lots of stuff out of these characters, far exceeding the expectations of a campaign to be safe around trains.

The designs are certainly great and civilians get a kick seeing these cutesy characters dying horrible deaths (they should check out some indie comics!)

I'd never seen/heard that before. It reminds me somewhat of those Happy Tree Friends videos.
