3rd panel. 2 Pencil swipes create depth and volume of the airship. A panel I
would love to see Alex Toth ink. (Cuz it looks like he drew it!)

Occasionally when viewable, I really enjoy seeing the rough sketches underneath the final images.•• I call that "seeing the work," and I love it when it shows up in original art I have bought. Very often shows just how much the inkers do or don't bring to the page.

JB, I noticed that each page after 2 is named with a ‘b’ ending, meaning a rework of the original page or nothing really… just wondering.

I'm seeing some Kirby influence in the Professor X face!
And I love the energy of panel 3 - simple lines to depict Manhattan.

You know what I love about this page? Of course, it's drawn well, but I love Xavier's dialogue- his reluctance to send Wolverine out into the field, given his current circumstances.
"We must send a team at once to take action! Storm, Sprite, Colossus and... Wolverine." Just that subtle hesitancy, speaks volumes.

Incredible how in 4 panels today you have action, display a sense of power for both Magneto and Storm, and create suspense. Entire modern books don't give me the same feeling. Its been said many times, but JB you are true master of your craft!
