James, the article makes it clear that the sale ended already.

My bad Tim - I couldn’t read it all as it was behind a bunch of cookie
choices.

Something I guess won’t be an issue soon, as GDPR rules may change as
another ‘improvement’ of our leaving the EU.

Seems odd for the article to even float the question if comic fans would be willing to spend that amount of money on one of these. I've seen limited edition figures like this go for over $1000 before and they're always snapped up.

Haslab has been making some poor decisions lately - the Rancor & a
lightsabre both failed to reach target.

There is a Ghost Rider car with figures @ the moment that looked like it
might make it but seems to have hit a brick wall, so not sure if that will make
it.

Yes, JB, unfortunately. Apparently flaming cars are
cooler than flaming motorcycles. Apparently the Marvel
writers never drove a Ford Pinto back in the '80s!

A car instead of a motorcycle sounds like creeping middle age, which is something that seems to overtake comics periodically, no matter what the actual ages of the people producing those comics.

I guess the next move will be for Ghost Rider to drive a truck and join "U.S. 1".

I joke, but with the current "throw shit at the wall and see what sticks" policy at Marvel these days, I can see it happening.

More likely an SUV/van. And live in the suburbs.

I commented on this phenomenon years/decades ago, noting that the greying of the audience, and Marvel's pandering to them, was much as if Chevrolet released a station wagon version of the Corvette Stingray.
