My dad, being a traveling preacher, was all-in on that shit.

So lucky my dad picked up Buddhism when he was in India and Burma during the War.

My church's rantings on Satanism in music was a great way to pique my curiosity and find out more about Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Black Sabbath, etc.

I’m pretty sure you’re a self described atheist JB.  Did your father try to impart any Buddhism to you?  If so, are there any aspects that stuck with you as wise even if there is/are no god/s.

Gene Simmons of KISS was accused by Bible thumpers of making Satanic hand gestures on stage and in photos.  But of course, all of you realized as a huge comics fan, Simmons was intentionally doing the hand gesture Spider-Man does when shooting webbing.  Right?

I don't remember the Watcher referring (indirectly) to god. Maybe it was lost in translation.

The quote doesn't sound indirect, it sounds coy but direct. It can't be God though; he had plenty of alternative weapons at his disposal, including (but not limited to) plagues of frogs, gnats & locusts; pestilence; rivers of blood; darkness; and mass infanticide.

JC was the love bug.

The quote is from the first Galactus “trilogy”. Scripted by Stan. Should be easy enough to find.
