Well, this weekend there's a prediction of a huge snow storm throughout the country. The last time my area had snow at the levels predicted was back in 2004.

That time, there was somebody plowing the packing area for the gas station next to my shop decided to pile it up right around my entrance, which created a huge mound nearly as high as the roof to the building!

In 2013, there was another good snow, but thankfully not as much as 2004. In fact, I posted a picture at that time that JB took and  added a humorous caption to one particular picture:

Yep, I kept the image with JB's addition all these years. LOL!

Hopefully, everyone will stay safe and warm!

I saw on the news a bunch of FEMA employees who received layoff notices have suddenly received “ well not right now” notices because of the expected effects of the storm.

Well, who in their right mind would need FEMA services with a storm like this? 🤔🙄

Everyone please: Stay Warm & Stay Safe

This is the kind of weather that shuts down a state like Texas.  Monday will be insane as the temp will stay well below 20 degrees F (even down to 8 degrees F until Monday afternoon and the preciptation is going to get heavy for the next day. Staying inside.

Texans know a storm is going to be bad if Ted Cruz takes a plane somewhere warm.

Wind chill is -25 °C here today. 'Regular' temp is -14 °C.

I went to the gym earlier and leaving the car for the gym was not so bad. On the way from the gym to the car, the wind was in my face and it was AWFUL! Like my face was going to freeze.

I am waiting to see what will happen.  As long as I still have hot water...
