Careful! A miracle requires divine intervention. That we exist is amazing in the context of our own experience, but in an infinite universe that is (most likely) teeming with life, our special position is reduced. Even here on Earth it is only our own hubris that sets us as the pinnacle of “creation”. Evolution is not a single linear event. Every living thing around us has followed its own path, its own adaptations, and can be argued as being just as evolved as we are. Miracles are not required.
