I'd love to see John and Gail work together some more. I like seeing
John work his art-droid muscles. Gives a slightly different "flavour"
to my usual John Byrne fix;-)

Sad news, just e-mailed my comicbook shop and told them to cancel Action after 835, a shame since Mr Byrne is my alltime favorite Superman penciller and I really love Gail Simones writing, I have really enjoyed Villians United and most of the stuff she's written for DC.
Hopefully Mr.Byrne and Miss Simone will work together in another project in the future. And hey, there's still 3 issues of Action to enjoy!

Thanks DC, for nothing! Plus the money I save from not buying Doom Patrol and Action every month will not be spent on that weekly 52 mini-series that was created to rob customers of a hundred and fifty bucks!

I am so glad this team-up happened as I had not read any of
GS's work until "Action" and now I seek her work out. I hope JB
and GS can team up again soon - I have loved every issue of
"Action" that has come out.

I am glad this teaming happened too. Cheers to Dan Didio for putting Gail and JB together on Superman.

Oh my! Miste B., was it the big annoucement that you mentioned before? Or will it be another news, good one? I hope for the second option, like you taking over another monthly title. Detective comics could be nice. But any title will do... maybe not " Kite man " from the other thread !
Thank you.

One more issue? Sheesh, I don't know what DC is thinking. While I don't like Nelson's inks I did enjoy the book. I sure hope DC gives JB another couple of books. I am glad BOTD is doing well and hope it goes a long time.

Very disappointing, indeed.
I second the idea of bringing back "The Brave and the Bold". It would give Gail and JB the chance to put their mark on a larger number of DC characters and could be a fun ride.
If not that....Metal Men.

I have also emailed by LCS to discontinue Action from my pull list after this
issue. I buy any book either Gail or John do sight unseen as I know the level
of quality will be high. I may continue to pick up the book, but I will check it
out on the shelf first. All good things apparently must end, and some far too
soon.

Disappointing news. "Action" can get along without me as well. Nice work,
Gail & JB.
