JB: This is OT, but I didn't know if to start a new thread for this small
question.
Comparing the Strange Attractors TPB with the pencil scans, I noticed that
page 7 from Action #831 is missing. This only happened in the TPB or was it
also removed from the single comic book?

Ok, I missed this explanation from page 1:
Yet this doesn't explain the four missing pages of the TPB.

Less all the time.
Traditionally, the colorist, usually working with watercolor dyes, painted
reduced copies of the originals. These were then marked up with color
codes and sent on to the separators, who would literally eyeball the colorists
instructions and paint black areas onto overlays, each corresponding to a
percentage of a particular hue. (CMY and sometimes K).
Nowadays, with much coloring being done on computers, the two processes
are often combines. Colorist and separator is the same person.

On the Wrighton colored piece the light could be falling in the background and the shadows on the sleeve being caused by the lantern.
( Note to self: go out and buy the Byrne Action Comics you're missing! )

Ferran, I believe that the Zoom/Bizarro race subplot got reprinted elsewhere as it was a follow-up to another writer's issue. Which was a silly decision IMHO.
