Geez! I wasn't aware you were fired off WCA. A bit of an overreaction
considering that Ultimate Hulk destroys half of Manhattan, because he
was horny and wanted to rape Betty. Different times I guess.

I wasn't. That was my point.

Read his post again guys, it wasn't the "powers that be" who lost their minds about the Scarlet Witch scene.  It was some fans.  Who then spread rumors.

I think a lot of people thought that something sexual was going on because the Scarlet Witch was saying she was free or morality, was going to show Wonder Man how she appreciated how handsome he was, and began to rip off his shirt.

I have been thinking about this scene and trying to think of another way this could be interpreted besides sexually and I can't. It doesn't make sense for her to say that she's going to show how she appreciates how handsome he is and then attack him violently.

However, the head placement of Wanda shows that's physically impossible for her to be giving him oral sex.

I never thought Wanda was giving a BJ to Wonderman, since her head was still showing, I figured she was doing something painful to a certain private area with her hands - given the scratches she was giving him, etc.  Now, granted, I was a teen when the book came out - so I'm not even sure I knew what a BJ was at the time, and if I did, why anyone would scream at the thought of getting one.

Noting the scene in UXM 136 with Jean and Colossus, the "lines" on Colossus' shorts do point up and down instead of sideways, indicating that something was grabbing him hard in a certain area.  I clearly remember that one since I asked my older brother at the time I read the book (I was 9),  "what is she doing to him to make him scream?" - He pointed out the "grabbing lines" on the shorts and said "she's squeezing his nuts".  I remember the moment clear as yesterday, made me laugh my ass off.

This is all from memory, of course, got nothing to refer to or to post to illustrate my point.

Unless there's another reason he's called Wonder Man.

Anthony, another reason I didn't think she was doing anything physical to him is that Wonder Man is up there with the Thing and Thor for invulnerability and Scarlet Witch, from what I know, doesn't have the physical strength to hurt him with her nails.

Going by JB's comment, I believe there's no right answer to what she does, but there are some wrong ones.  I always thought she was utilizing her powers to somehow inflict physical damage to his chest or abdomen with her hand.  I also thought her comments were meant to inflict further emotional pain, just being cruel, as she knew how Wonderman felt.

It's vague enough so that it accomplishes two things: 1) it can be interpreted on a variety of levels for multiple ages, and 2) makes it seem all the worse bc you can only imagine what could possibly be happening. For all we know she's slowly disemboweling him with her hex power, or mentally turning his own heartache into physical pain, or setting his insides ablaze.
