Congratulations, JB. go to Italy. The women are amazing.

True. Plus, you'd meet ME! Isn't this already a good reason to come here?

••

I'm not planning any traveling. I find THAT kind of vacation too much hard work!!

I'll give you two weeks in to your vacation before you start writing your next comic!

••

That long!

(In fact, when I was talking about this with Chris Ryall, I said one of the things I'd like to do is get the next miniseries entirely finished before the first issue gets published. That will create a kind of "vacation" in and of itself -- no more deadlines!)

First up will be a brand new series I've been playing with in my head for a while, and, of course, this also means I can do more COLD WAR without having to fret the sales.

---

YES!!! More COLD WAR please! And another series? YES!!! More John Byrne series' please!

Here I was thinking this could lead to less work - but more? Awesome!

IDW has put out some really quality products over the past couple of years, and they're fast becoming my favourite publisher. They not only put out great content, but the various formats they publish material in are all top-notch productions. They're consistently excellent, and I'm glad JB has found a "home" with them for the foreseeable future.

Enjoy the vacation, JB!

And, regarding your new arrangement with IDW, I'll throw in with my request for more YOU GO, GHOUL! :-)

Maybe some ProtoTykes, too!

Enjoy.  From what you've said, it seems more like a working vacation but it will be good to be free of the constraints of deadlines for a while.

This "new arrangement" could lead to some interesting things. Probably going to shorten the first TRIO series to 4 issues, and end on a cliffhanger, since I can now pretty much guarantee a second series. Also, maybe a format change for COLD WAR.

Oh, the places we'll go!!
