This page is in my top 20 favorite pages JB drew for Elsewhen!
Super fun to work on! (Man, that rubble though!)

Paul,

While there is so much talent on display in this thread by the many skilled contributors, your work continues to catch my eye, evoking the very best of late 70's Terry Austin while maintaining a style all your own. You somehow walk the exceptionally difficult line (no pun intended!) of respecting Mr. Byrne's magnificent pencils while adding crispness and depth to the page. Thank you for sharing your results and I look forward to your next post!

Marc- Nice job. I wish I was as adept at coloring.
Matt - Thanks! I do recall some of your past inking work that I was impressed with - have you done any Elsewhen inking?
Thanks, Kevin! I appreciate that. I keep trying to improve with each page. I have a fondness for those early inkers which may show influence. My goal is to make the art very clean-looking and dynamic and retain exactly what the penciler put on paper. Can't wait to get started on the next page!

Paul, no, I haven't tried my hand at inking ELSEWHEN, yet. I have a few projects I am tackling first, but I'd love to get around to inking some pages from it in the future.

I am embarassed to post after Paul, who is probably the best to have inked JB's Elsewhen (as the above Nightcrawler page proves), but here goes:

Athanasios, I'm really flattered by your comment. I've felt my inking could use improvements after seeing others post their work here. It motivated me to push a little bit harder to improve.
You (and Marc) did an excellent job!

Marc- I see you're converting the pencils to blue lines like me. I'm trying to find an easier way to remove the blue line images afterI'm done with inking. For now, I'm just adjusting thebrightness/contrast.
