I grew up in Vermont, moved to Colorado when I was 21, moved back when I was 39.

The biggest difference for me is the dramatically different population size.  I lived in the Denver metro area which has a population of like 3 million.  Vermont's entire state population is under 650k.

For some reason, I feel more at peace/at ease with less people around.

I’m reminded of Daniel Boone who, t’is said, upon seeing smoke on the horizon from the chimneys of approaching civilization, would immediately pack up and move further away.

I was born in St. Albans Vermont, almost Canada (my parents were on there way back from visiting family when I decided to make my appearance).

Moved to NH when I was 1 and out side of moving around a bit when I was in the Air Force I have stayed in NH.

Love the lakes, love the mountains, love the beaches. Nice place to live.
