An amazing inker. A favourite of mine, as he was to so many here, and how much did I love his painted covers for the original Marvel Star Wars comics? They were, and are, gorgeous.
RIP Tom

A decade or so back I mentioned to Tom how much I had enjoyed his collaboration with Ross Andru on DOC SAVAGE. Immediately, he sent me an original page.

Tom Palmer was a genius who could make a symphony out of Gene Colan’s pencils when no one else could.  A very sad loss.

So sad. Loved his work with Gene Colan on TOMB OF DRACULA and Ross Andru on DOC SAVAGE.

Another legend passes.

Yeah, he was a great fit with Colan on Dracula. Lovely organic feel to the art.

Unreal.

I was just viewing his work on Avengers with John Buscema and The Silver Surfer with John.

Job well done, Mr. Palmer.

This is awful news. Such a gigantic talent and by all reports a great person. What a loss.
