Tears.

How wonderful to see these pictures.

Thank you Tom for making so much pure magic in my life.

Just hearing how he was so kind and thoughtful makes me see all his
artistic power in a new light. To have all that and kindness too!

RIP

I've long realized a great deal of my love of those classic Buscema and Epting 'Avengers' stories comes from Tom Palmer's contribution to the art and storytelling. I loved his work on "X-Men: The Hidden Years" and "Tomb of Dracula" too.

Honestly, I probably love everything he did in comics for a long, long time. He will be missed.

Dammit.  One of the few greats I never had the opportunity to meet.  Far too many greats are leaving us this year.

RIP Mr. Palmer.

Oh no. Very saddened by this. The Stern/Buscema/Palmer run on Avengers is one of my all time favourites. And for me the best the Avengers book ever was. (I especially love the Olympian arc.)

But he would always make such a difference to any issue he worked on. And by all accounts was a lovely man too. I dearly wish I could have met him.

R.I.P.  Mr. Palmer

Very sad news. I'm not sure this is true, but it always seemed Tom was underrated, at least not as talked about back in the day as other inkers. His work will live on forever. RIP and condolences to his family and friends.

One of my all-time favourites. His run on Avengers with Stern and Buscema is a regular re-read.
Thank-you, sir.

When I was a kid, I just knew Palmer, Sinnott and Janson's names because they were head and shoulders above everyone else as inkers (there were several other good ones, but they stood out).

Palmer was so interesting in how his style evolved from the early years where he used zip a tone a lot to where he did such magnificent brush work.
