I cannot comment. I'm too close to the characters.

They aren't dead, they were bored to sleep by Brian 'Nyquil' Bendis.
(I'd give credit to who I first read that nickname from, but I forgot who it was)

I'm not sure that's even Alpha Flight. I recognize Guardian, tho he's already dead as far as I'm concerned, Sasquatch, Puck, and I guess that's Shaman dressed up in Thunderbird's clothes. No idea who the rest are.

Bendis and Quesada do it again. Just when you think there isn't
something more annoying that they could possibly do -- they find
something.

I think Heather is there, between Puck and Sasquatch. Don't know the rest. If you don't know what to do with characters, why use them, let alone slaughter them? Bendis just turns me off with everything he does.

C'mon, guys! Quitcher gripin'! When I killed Terrax, I thought I had come up with the most un-doable comic book death this side of Uncle Ben. I mean, hey! Consumed by the Power Cosmic! How much deader can you get?And how long did it take for another writer to bring Terrax back by not more strenuous an expedient than "I got better"? This "death", if "real", could be undone in two panels. Three, tops. I care not.

Well, I still can't get over the way Guardian was brought back "for real", just by stating that the impossible story concocted by Delphine Courtney really happened.

I care not, too. Regardless of how good or bad the story might be (haven't read it yet), death has been done to, well, death in the comic universes. Nothing in that vein surprises or shocks me anymore.
Yawn...wake me up when something really exciting happens...

Will they have a 1-4 part mini-series 'Funeral for a Flight' so that heroes everywhere can grieve and drink Molson's beer? I bet Wolverine gives a great eulogy.

I've been out of the Alpha Flight loop for a while..
Were there still duplicate sets of the team running around the m****l universe?

No...they are going to return from the death, and their memories erased about the team, but with a suggestion on their minds, to assemble a team known as "AF"...
- Alpha Faggs: The queer group of Northstar, livin' la vida loca...
- Alpha Force: The military strike force lead by Guardian...
- Alpha Friends: Aurora and her friends shopping at all the local marts...
- Alpha Fauna: Snowbird and Sascuatch leading a team of animals...
And others....
And naturally, they remmeber who they are, reassemble Alpha Flight and....oh...wait...that's already been done....
