Rumours abound that in this weeks New Avengers 16 Brian Bendis killes off Alpha Flight. Has anyone heard any more and what does JB think about it if it's true.

Wow. What a fight scene. Setup then aftermath. Nice.

I think it sucks that M***** has gone towards a "Barry Allen" treatment on Alpha Flight. Nothing great has been done with them in a while ( some, like me, would say a loooong while) so they just kill 'em off. Boooooo.

My feeling is... other than what JB created and expanded on... there was no serious sitdown and creatively come up with content that would make the team work and be of interest to readers...

I dipped in and out of the series since JB left... and in my view, there never got their S*** together to actually do it right...

I think what went wrong is American Minds producing a Canadian content driven book...

there is more to Canada then riding my snowmobile to work, or snowball fights every thrusday, or being chased on the freeway for speeding... by a fancy dressed cop on a horse... or scraping ICE off of the inside house wall to cool my soda drink... or go seal hunting for dinner... etc...

Only JB could do the Flight.  Still, those f**k*rs at Marvel have obviously no respect for the fans of this team, who run several excellent sites.  So some monster or other can take down Sasquatch but can be beaten by Jessica Drew and the posers?? Give me a break.  I give up, I really do. Mouthy Marvel does it again.YAWN.

This makes me sad, Alpha was always my favorite super-team and my first introduction to Mr. Byrne's work.  Nuts to Bendis.

On the upside my favorite Alphan, Snowbird, doesn't appear to be among the fallen.  Hurrah!

As someone once said, "I've been dead before."

Geez, and no one yet has picked up on the far bigger death that is coming?

Then you'll see outrage.
