Great piece! I run AlphaFlight.net, The Home for Alpha Flight
Fans, I was wondering if it might be OK for me to put this image on the
site? I'm guessing I'd need the permission of both JB and of the
owner of the commision.

Ben, since I've been swiping avatars off your site (which, by the way, you have way too few done by John), you have my permission if JB says it's OK. I think it's been way too long since new AF art has been done by the creator.

that pic brings a tear to my eye. it is such a shame that jb did not
hold his run on that title in as high regards as some of us still, and
struggling alpha flight fans.
also would be great to see byrne back on the title he made a top-seller.

I couldn't resist trying my hand at coloring this (as a Canadian Alpha
holds a special place in me heart!)... apologies in advance!

There's a board rule about coloring JB's B&W stuff and posting it in threads other than the 'Coloring' thread. You might want to edit.
