Geez, this is 11x17 (sorry I missed that before posting).  I'm just amazed that each figure looks so large, and there are 6 of them on the page.

HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!!  (taking a page from my daughter who loves to quote Sponge Bob)

As with the #15 (both versions), you have exceeded all of my expectations and more with this take on #12!!!  I also love to see your progression through the stages as it really adds to the charm of the finished piece.  I do hope someone on the board finds a way to animate this.

And yes, I was one of the 25 who could not wait. 8-)  Thanks John!!!  Best...

- Scott

Since you knew this was coming, Scott, you can be
excused for taking a peek. The others.... no.

Very cool. What's with all the Iron Fist commissions recently?
Are they going to the same person or is it just a coincidence? I
also happen to be reading the Essential Iron fist trade right now
which is my first exposure to the character.

Thank you for sharing this step in the creation process.  I have always been fascinated with how an artist works from beginning to end, especially your work JB.  This is why I am a member here, to learn, admire and be awed by your talents.  Thanks again.

Thanks for taking the trouble, JB.  Great to see the whole process from start to finish.

This progression is definitely one of the cooler artistic things I've ever seen. Love it!
