Brilliant! I love these sorts of insights into the creation of a work.
On a side note - regarding the "peeking" - I had no idea that this thread was here until a few seconds ago (so I'm absolved, I guess). Would it not have been a good idea to throw everything up when it was all ready if the intention was to stop people from seeing it beforehand? I'm puzzled. Was the thread active, or was it hidden and some people found their way in? Enlighten, please!

Andrew -- I put everything up at the same time.
Knowing that would take a couple of minutes, I
named the thread UNDER CONSTRUCTION -
Don't Look Yet. Does it seem to you like that was
an excessive thing to ask?

That was plain incredible to see JB....almost like time capture photography. Fantastic final piece as well, with the Wrecking Crew getting their butts whipped by Iron Fist and Captain America. Great commission going to a lucky home.

I cannot adequately express how DISGUSTED I am by those of you who took a "peek" when I specifically labeled the thread asking you not to.
Maybe you'd like to tell me now why I shouldn't kick your miserable asses off the Forum?
**********************************
I waited.
Well, mainly because I hadn't accessed the forum during the time you initally posted it until just now.... Otherwise, it may have been 26 views. (hanging my head in shame)
Anyway, that's really cool to watch how you work things out. I found it very interesting that you did the background last. How long did it take for you to decide how to lay out all the figures and as to what they were doing?

Not only that, but it gets difficult to format multi-image posts all at once (that is, the images are easily jumbled).

Impressive....most impressive.
The best lesson of art that I have had in the last years, thank you.
We can learn a lot with it.

As one of the guilty 25, I can only plead stupidity.
I saw a new thread started by JB and just automatically clicked it. I was
actually confused by the thread title -- I thought the "Under Construction"
referred to the progressive shots, but couldn't figure out how "Don't Look
Yet" worked in. I kept looking at the picture because I thought it was the
title of the commission or something and hoping I'd figure it out. (I was
thinking it was a warning to Cap or IF or something, like "Don't look now,
Cap, but Paste Pot Pete is just around the corner..."
Gods I feel dumb right now.

WHEW, that is a relief!!! I felt like a little kid at Christmas who could not wait to open his gifts, but got caught sneaking a peek.
