Such imagination, such power of expression, with the same lexicon available to all of us, but used in such combination to render a foe...

Wow. Just...wow.
As much as I may joke on this forum, JB, I have nothing but respect for your work, both past and present.

Wow, thanks JB- a unique look at the process involved in creating a beautiful piece of art. Thanks for posting these.
George- nice work with the animation.

What a fantastic treat - really wonderful JB. Thank you so much for showing
the progression. Excellent work! I'm loving all the B&W Iron Fist!

Although I kinda cheated there, as I didn't twist
anything. I just cited and example of you being the
crazy control freak you are.

HERE IS THE LAST UPDATE OF THE VIDEO OF
THE PROGRESSION:

I suggest losing the animated grid. It's too long. If I
clicked into something like that, I be gone before the
artwork started to form.

JB, if you don't mind me asking, what make and model of scanner do you own? I would like to purchase one for artwork, etc...
Thanks,
Bill

This so makes me want to get another commission soon. If only I could decide what the subject should be.
And once again I'm awed by how JB can fit so many characters into an 11x17 piece.

What a great idea! I always liked the Wrecking crew and would love to see the rest of this battle.
JB when doing a piece like this do you build a story around the scene in your head?

This scene (more or less) is from IRON FIST 11/12,

Very cool, as always! I think I'll show this to my daughter. She keeps thinking stuff just come out as finished art.
