Terrific progression, JB-- and I think it'll give lots of the art-fans out there a lot to think about, in terms of how the pages are constructed. It's a nice page-long master class on dynamic storytelling. Thanks for doing it!

On a separate note, the motif of the Wrecking Crew makes it seem like they *should* be wearing coveralls, blue jeans and plaid shirts, hard hats, improvised masks, steel toed boots-- in other words, like they came off a day at a construction site. Ah well. Maybe they'll get more thematic costuming one of these days... during Ultimate Cosmic Transformative Extra-Secret Wars (This Time It's Personal... For Real!).

I know that I'm not the only one to notice this is the first step toward that
awesome JB 'how to draw like a goddamn genius' dvd. Thanks a bundle for
this Mr. Byrne--sharing the wealth of your talent in so many ways.

JB here is the update to the PROGRESSION VIDEO:
http://www.theblackdiamondeffect.com/byRne/JBprogression.mov
I've sped up the grid animation by 500% and overlayed it to build up faster...
I've also added wording regarding the step and type of pen (fine / medium, nib)

George,
Great work--I'm on an ibook g4 and can't get the full picture (I lose the
upper half of IF's body). Any recommendations as to how to fix this
problem?
Outstanding work just the same. What chapter on the upcoming dvd should
this be placed in, do you think?
cheers.

Mine plays in a browser window on a PC. Any way to scale it down there?

Well, mainly because I hadn't accessed the forum during the time you initally posted it until just now.... Otherwise, it may have been 26 views. (hanging my head in shame) *****
I admit, I would have been 27. I am horrible that way. I want to give people their Christmas gifts they day I buy them because I just can't wait. I need to peek. Its incredibly neat what you did. When you started adding inks it really wowed me as they looked almost threedpimensional on my monitor. I think this is my most favorite commission just because I adore those behind the scenes looks!

JB, George.. you guys need to go into business together. All commissions should be done like this. An eye-in -the-sky hi-def camera would really make it easy. Just imagine if Leonardo Da Vinci's work had been chronicled so well. What a contribution to art history that would be!
