Impressive piece. Ya know, I never saw it before, but this piece of art makes me wonder if Phil Jimenez considers you one of his influences. How's that for a reversal of associations?

Stunning, I love dark phoenix, Phoenix, Black Queen and any other incarnation of Jean Grey that JB has done. The owner is a lucky person, it will certainly stand out on the wall.

Not as such, Rene. Dave Cockrum designed the original Phoenix costume -- which, by the way, he intended to be white and gold -- and I modified it as a kind of "mood costume" for Dark Phoenix.
