All I can come up with is Madonna constantly "resurrects" her
career and also has extremely muscular legs. =0)

This piece and the last one reminds me of John Buscema's art in his first run on the Avengers. These are big, powerful, in-your-face images.

Thanks JB!

FWIW - In "Phoenix Endsong", there is a white & gold Phoenix costume, though I can't now remember if it was used to symbolize Jean Grey finally coming to terms with the Phoenix, or if was simply used for Emma Frost channelling the Phoenix.

I thought JB was referring to this being a depiction of the first manifestation of the Dark Phoenix force.
