Wow, two ALPHA FLIGHT comissions that work well together!!
Nice work as usually, JB. Since you've drawn them recently, do
you have any wishes to revisit the team in a new series if it
were possible?

I know full well that most Indians like to be called Indian, but I changed "Talisman looks more Indian" because the sentence just looked -- wrong.

You really tick me off, JB! You go and create 2 beautiful commissions, and then, do to an off-the-cuff remark, you go and combine the 2, creating ANOTHER beautiful piece of art!!!!!
Does it hurt having the horseshoe back there? ;)

Throw a potato sack over a red-headed Colleen and
ship her to me, and we'll call it even!

Have you ever tried to tame a red-headed Colleen??
Interesting note: read headed people will eventually cease to exist due to recessive nature of the red headed gene so you'll have to get one while you can!!

My wife and her two sisters are all red-heads. Their parents are both red-heads. Six grandkids so far, no red-heads. We men must be to blame.

WOW! Great, great GREAT stuff! (want more)

O, I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is somehow a prohpetic statement, Ryan.
Incidentally, I just have to ask, does anybody know if these two commissions were requested by the same customer? Since there seems to be a clear theme going, I mean.
As for this image next to the last one... I'd actually prefer the previous one to the right and the new one to the left, sort of getting the "beasts" in the middle and the AF members around them. Second version works better than the first though, I should add.
JB wrote: "Well -- and here's something I never thought I'd see myself say -- thank you, Jesus."
This comment sort of made my day. Gave me a good laugh at the very least.
Btw, going off topic slightly, and speaking of Natives (and what constitutes being "native" of any kind), I have a nice little anecdote involving one of my colleagues at University. In 1983 (I believe), Salman Rushdie attented a conference here at Gothenburg university (way before my time, I may add), and said colleague of mine who is a born and bred Newcastle (UK) man put his foot very neatly in his mouth on this occasion. Rushdie, as anyone who's seen him in interviews or such like knows, has a very distinguished British accent (which is quite logical given his schooling in the UK, etc). Only this featured somewhat impressed my colleague, who expressed it by saying, "Why, Mr Rushdie, you speak like a native." (the double meaning of which I'm sure you all grasp). Rushdie understandably just gave him a resentful look and, I guess, continued conversing with other people.
