If I'm ever able to afford a commission, Batgirl will have to be part of it.
Excellent.

Maaaaan!!! That is just the best Batgirl...um...Bat-Cycle? Anyway...it is just a
thing of beauty. And of course my favorite heroin Batgirl, and she's having a
great time too! I miss stuff like this...sigh...

Awesome piece, JB. I think my favorite part is the inking on Batgirl and her bike. LOOOOve the sheen you've represented on the bike. Great job, Chief!

Very nice.  Like I've said before, I'm not much of a DC guy - but drawings like that could make me change my mind.

Not really.  I thought the 70's DC books were mostly pretty goofy especially when compared to Marvel.  So I never formed a childhood attachment with them.  I still "like" them but I don't get that little skip in my chest like I do when John posts a Marvel drawing.

John and Marvel really do go together don't they?  As I mentioned elsewhere, I would love to see him tackle the Defenders and get a chance to draw everybody again.

The reflections on the bike is awesome.

Thanks! This is a piece of my repetoire that only recently dropped into place. For much of my career I have lacked the (let's call it) confidence to let my brush wobble and skid when doing reflections in metal, yet that is precisely what needs to happen to get this effect right.

It really clicked for me just this past April, when I was working on that "Darth Vader" piece I did as a birthday gift for a friend.
