"John and Marvel really do go together don't they?  As I mentioned elsewhere, I would love to see him tackle the Defenders and get a chance to draw everybody again."

JB's my favorite artist period for either Marvel or DC.  His Man of Steel was what got me to read DC comics consistently.  But his Marvel work does indeed hold a special place in my heart.  It's where the 12 year old lives.

I understand Wayne.  It took JB working on MOS to get me to start enjoying the DC universe of characters.

JB, the explanation of the process behind this commission is almost as enjoyable as the piece itself.  Thanks for sharing.

It really clicked for me just this past April, when I was working on that "Darth Vader" piece I did as a birthday gift for a friend.

It's very cool to read that you're still learning new things as an artist. Loving this commission, too.  That's a GREAT Batgirl.

Great work! I love the composition, the low-angle point-of-view, the perspective on the bike, the reflections... fantastic.
